Interesting guy. Obviously plays TE but also was a DE in high school and well regarded in both. I assume we recruited him as a tight end.

I cannot imagine we just take on guys who have been expelled off their teams willy-nilly. My guess is that someone on the PSU staff recommended Norwood to the recruit and vouched for the kid and that was the basis for the transfer, just as it was for Phil Taylor. As far as the behavior issues are concerned the staff probably tells him straight up--if we have an issue with you, you're gone.

Either way he fills a need, whether he sits out for a year or not.

It looks like when the Christian Morgan door closed, another opened. Imagine that.

If he was about to start at DE for Penn State, I've gotta believe that's where he's headed for us.

I'm just impressed he showed enough quickness to avoid the "cops" rush, and escaped back to his pad! Wow! All over $7.00.

I hope he walks the line and turns out as good as Big Phil. It could pay off huge for him and Baylor.

I haven't seen any video of him yet on the football field, but his footwork on the dunk we pretty clean.

Going to be interesting to watch him develop. LaQuan McGowan is no longer the tallest guy on the team.
