Tonight had to have gotten the attention of a lot of folks. Dominating a solid top 25 team in their own back yard is big time. We're a legit program now....not just a once in a generation player.

Well, we have a reputation as being a Leach-type passing offense, so I was happy to show that we're much more balanced than people thought.

You mean for the game or overall? Briles has always been impressively balanced in his offense, but people think because we're in the Big 12 and putting up all these numbers that we must be a pass-happy spread.

If you're talking about not being balanced in the game, it still shows our balance because perception is that we're overwhelmingly a passing team like Leach's teams. They still say Briles is a Leach disciple and learned his offense from Leach.

We are balanced, and this game showed that we can play hard-nosed football as well as fling the ball around. People know we have impressive receivers but our RBs usually get overlooked. This game was a great way to showcase our RBs and how diverse this offense can be.
