Feels like home

With Baylor needing playmakers in the defensive backfield, the commitment of 2013 defensive back Taion Sells-Warner will only help, even if it is a at least a year before he leaves home and arrives on campus.

But make no mistake about it, the Baylor campus will be home to the 5'10 180 prospect and the coaches are more than just coaches.

"It felt like home when I'm around the coaches. I went with my heart and that's the main thing; I feel like it is the fit for me. I have a solid relationship with all of (the coaches). I like that a lot."

Sells, who is being recruiting to play safety at Baylor, said that while he would like to receive offers from West Virginia and Iowa, that it did not mean anything in his commitment to Baylor.

"Right now I'm happy where I'm at and blessed to be committed to Baylor."

When asked if he was solid to Baylor, he responded promptly.

"Yes, sir."

Another reason he is solid with the Bears is the relationship he has formed with other Baylor commitments and the influence they have had on him.

"Chris Johnson, Quan Jones, Travon Blanchard. I know them real well. Quan (had influence) and Travon, we talk a lot about it."

It is becoming a common theme, but Sells-Warner had one thing he wanted to tell Baylor fans.

"The next couple of years will be exciting."
