Cannon commits to Baylor

KD Cannon has committed to Baylor. The Bears now have the No. 16 overall class nationally in the 2014 cycle.

Baylor received the long-awaited commitment of speedy wide out KD Cannon (Mount Pleasant, Texas) on Saturday. Cannon picked the Bears over a host of programs, including Texas.

Cannon, a U.S. Army All-American Bowl selection, is the No. 4 wide receiver prospect nationally according to the recruiting industry-generated 247Composite rankings.

The 6-foot, 162-pound burner is commitment No. 23 for Baylor in the 2014 cycle. The Bears now have the nation’s No. 16 overall class and the No. 2 class in the Big 12.

Cannon was recruited to Baylor by co-offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Randy Clements with receivers coach/recruiting coordinator Kendal Briles lending an assist as the secondary recruiter.
