5 Questions for JJ Joe- WVU

Good stuff as usual. I agree with him in that we need to see more Magee and we have to win the TO battle this weekend. I'm worried about us coming out like we did Friday and playing sloppy early. We were good enough to beat ULM that way, but that won't happen this Saturday. If we come out and have a couple of turnovers early, the game may be over. Similar to the OSU game last year.

McAllister has played well... but outside of that why not get the young kid snaps. Our veteran D/E's are what they are...upside is limited.. I just think coach has to figure out a way to get the kid some meaningful snaps and lean on seeing him improve over the last 9 games.. I mean really, can his play be any more ineffective?.. I don't...I'm just saying..I know he's young and not a Savior or anything.. but give him snaps-- if the vets ahead of him aren't performing at a superior level and I bet the 18 year old gets better by the end of the season.

Lance, I'm with you. I'm leaning on the fact that we haven't played near our best game yet and we're due for a breakout performance. SMU was solid then we stalled. I will say this.. however.. ULM is a good team. If they can avoid injuries (FCS teams can't afford those due to the drop off).. they should win the rest of their games. Lets put it this way.. I see why they beat Ark., and pushed Auburn. They were surprisingly tenacious, efficient, and athletic in some positions.

Lache got in on two plays early against ULM. One on a zone read that Florence got exactly 2 yards... the other Lache got the ball and had nowhere to go. I believe the coaches will put him in a position to make a play this week.

As for Magee, it is surprising he hasn't had more opportunities. We need pass rush on third and long and he seems like the next in line for snaps in that situation and he has had zero.

I feel that Briles and Co. are loyal to the upperclassmen almost to a fault.
