I think that poaching thing might be a good enough reason for 16 teams.

screw rivalries...nobody seems to care about those anymore anyway, so i say we put our conference in the strongest position possible. if that means going to 16 teams, then, by all means, do it.

other than UT and Tech, who i imagine we'll play every year anyway, we dont have any true rivals left once atm leaves (ones that have been around longer than 20 years that is), so what would we be clinging to?
