Any update on expansion?

Just checking......
The Sporting News put out a piece Friday night stating the Big 12 expansion was on hold, pending further news from Mizzou. I also started seeing some news last night, from a couple of places, stating that (1) BYU is being rather difficult with its demands, and/or (2) BYU wants Mizzou to publicly commit before BYU accepts, while Mizzou wants BYU to accept before Mizzou publicly commits, thus creating somewhat of a stalemate. Finally, I saw a couple of articles where Louisvile was supposedly one of the main schools trying to strengthen the Big East (maybe just posturing).
I assume all of this is about three to four days behind the facts as we now know them to be, as always, but given the disappointment of yesterday some positive news would be welcome.
So, is the best information we have, as of this morning, that (1) BYU is expected to publicly make its intentions known by Monday (tomorrow), (2) Louisville and Cincinatti are a week to two after BYU, (3) West Virginia is still a wild card but Big 12's patience is running thin and (4) a WVU acceptance would mean TCU is #14?
As always, thanks. I just need to focus on something other than yesterday.

ESPNU had a story this morning that the A&M president said Missouri will not be going to the SEC and will be in the Big 12 for a long time.

I think that's because the military institutions are going to be invited to join. The conference knows they are about to lose several more teams.

Chip confirming what Brian has said for while:
A high ranking official at a Big 12 school told Orangebloods.com Sunday that "much progress was made" during a conference call with the Big 12 presidents and chancellors Sunday at 1:30. The primary topic was Missouri and the Tigers' future in or out of the Big 12.
The source said there was optimism that Missouri would stay in the Big 12 and that interim Big 12 commissioner Chuck Neinas would be issuing a press release discussing the progress.
But nothing will be finalized as it pertains to Missouri until MU Board of Curators meet on Tuesday. The curators are deciding if the Tigers should apply for membership to the South Eastern Conference, sources have said.
