Here is my thought on divisions.
Texas schools want to be together
Kansas and K-State want to continue their Oklahoma games
OU and OSU will not be split
ISU is on an island
Lets say we bring on four schools.
Louisville (These are my four in a guess. I do not see GT jumping)
So we make North/South divisions. Keep the Big 8 and Newbies in the North and SWC and newbies in the South. The balance of power is not bad either.
Well, Ok, the south is stacked, but everyone gets their wish. Let FSU have a cross divisional with WVU or Louisville for Eastern purposes and Clemson can have the other.
If the decide to move two Texas schools I hope they move one public and one private, not just BU and TCU.
I guess we could do what the Big 10 did as well. Instead of "Leaders and Legends" we could do "Ego's and Blow hards...

OU and UT will demand to be in the same division. They don't want to meet in the RRR and CCG. Could knock them out of playoff if they split. That's their thinking. Interest wise, a second meeting would be great for tv ratings.
Bear 15, as noted by others, there is NO WAY that OU/OSU will allow themselves to be in a division where they don't play against the Texas schools. Those two programs live and die with Texas HS recruiting. No way they get seperated. KU/KSU will have the least leverage in all of this and likely would be shipped to the East. We have leverage simply because we are in Texas and OU/OSU want to play games in Texas.
KU/KSU are on the same island as ISU.
