The surface at KSU is all carpet (even the lines are not actual chalk) and I *think* it effects the ball movement which is why you also see so many choppy ground outs there.
Just saw your Muncy update, that is his second double. His first was about 2" from being a 2r HR. It hit the wall above the sign that says 375.
