I am going to be all over that over (pun!)

I never bet on the first game of the year.

I had two different conversations today that I made that exact statement. Piles of money to be made the first two weeks of college football.

Not for me they aren't... Not in the last couple years anyways. Maybe I'll take your picks this year and see how it goes. I find I do much better as the season rolls along and I get a really good feel for the teams that I know the best. College football is the only thing I actually make money on betting every year. Tried NFL, didn't go so well.

Probably just need to stop completely to be honest.. Sure does make it more interesting though.

I bet the most during the first 2 weeks of the year.

My usual pre-season optimism has me thinking that we win by 3 TDs. My more realistic side thinks this game is going to be really close... A large margin of victory would be nice, though (obviously).

I love Baylor and like the Over. I'd probably just take Baylor, though. My optimism about our defensive speed against a CUSA team has me thinking this one could be like 42-17.
