Don't read too much into that, X. It's a vote and based on information already made public, they are most likely going to vote down pursuing application to the PAC 12. My take is that they are just needing to solidify their decision to "fish or cut bait".

Good point, Bexar. With Larry Scott's comments over the weekend, and unnamed reports that Pac 12 told OU they don't have an invite; voting NO to the Pac 12 could be a kind of saving face move. "We thought about it, voted on it, and have decided that we do not want to go to the Pac 12."

On the other hand, I have a hard time believing that OU doesn't already have a "secret invite" into the Pac 12, regardless of what Scott has said. They know this, hence the comments from Boren on Sept. 2nd, and hence the reason they are voting.

Dammitt! This is ruining the football season!
