95- 4* Corey Coleman- 5'10" 180
93- 4* Kiante Griffin- 6'0" 205
98- 5* Robbie Rhodes- 6'1" 190
89- 3* Quan Jones- 6'5 200
88- 3* Shock Linwood- 5'8" 185
85- 3* Lynx Hawthorne- 5'11" 200
It will be fun to watch this group mixed of RS-Freshmen, GS-Freshmen and Tr-Freshmen.
Kiante Griffin is my pick for breakout player that no one is expecting especially since he is getting a spring under his belt. 6'0" 200+ 4.5. Brian compared him to a taller Antwan Goodley and I see it. Just watch his video.

Linwood is at RB now.
Griffin comparison to Goodley is very accurate it seems. However, won't it be nice to see Goodley do the breaking tackle highlights on a more regular basis the next couple of seasons? Future is exciting to think about.
Lynx looks taller than 5'1" on his highlights. Must be the camera angle!
That's quite a group of WRs and it will be nice to watch their progress thru the yrs.
Wouldn't it be special to see DLine looking like this? Maybe it does and just not giving those there respect tho?
With Jay Lee, Tevin, Goodley and Norwood all coming back how much time will Griffin, Jones and the rest really get? Coleman should see the field as he'll be a RS-Fr and Rhodes seems to be good enough to play as a Tr-Freshman but we're pretty deep at WR right now. I could see us using Quan to throw into the endzone given his height, but not sure that's worth burning his redshirt. Just thoughts off the top of my head.
To me, Goodley looks awkward adjusting to and catching the ball. Catches with his body & doesn't show great hands. He looks more like a RB than a WR. I think we will see him in the slot on reverses and at RB on wheel routes and maybe even in the wildcat in the future. I think Rhodes will be a starter by mid season if not sooner along with Coleman I also think the walk on Clay Fuller is very underrated and could see a lot of PT next season.
Jay Lee needs to stay healthy and step up, he's our big receiver along with Norwood.
agree that we need Jay Lee to step up.
In spring ball, I'll be watching
1) Stefan Huber (at center)
2) the battle for RG (Tyler Edwards, Kelvin Palmer, Desmine Hilliard, etc)
3) QB - obviously Petty, plus Russell
4) Jay Lee
Agree on Fuller. The sample size was really small, but he had some great hands. I don't know what his speed is like but he could become some QB's safety blanket on 3d down with the hands I saw.
4.48- plenty fast
Baylor will trot out this scholarship lineup of WRs.
Rhodes - 4.3s
Coleman - 4.32 The Opening FAT
Reese - 4.31 FAT
Goodley - 4.41 at 220
Griffin - 6'1 210 4.5
Lee - 6'3 220 4.48
^^^ my gosh, if this was pro ball I would strongly think trading some of the many WRs for big time defensive linemen could help win a Super Bowl
4 will be on the field at all times.
...... and you have to include, although slower they can catch anything close, Norwood and Fuller too. That's 8 and there's alot more too!
Wish could trade for a Clowney or two in college but?
Those guys will push the others to 2nd.
Holy crap, Rhodes runs in the 4.3s?? I honestly had no idea. I thought he was in the 4.45 range.
He'll be in the 4.3s when he gets in the program.
