I read it wrong. It started at 10 and I thought it was at 1. I sent Justin a text to see if he could make it earlier.

Mike Hicks had a PR over 39" in the vertical.
This might be the only time I wish I was still a member of Rivals.
Any idea why T williams isn't running? I thought this would be a good opportunity for him to improve on that 4.52.
Justin's got class and other obligations until 9pm tonight.
Yes, we'll make calls and get times/jumps/etc...
Smoak said today on his show that several teams had timed TW at the combine in the 4.4 - 4.5 range. Maybe they felt the combine time was off? He suggested those teams (whoever they are) said he didn't need to do more.
there HAS to be a team (or a couple) that are smart enough to look at 3-4 years of tape on Williams, and know that he's a top-level WR, regardless of what he ran at the combine. the guy consistently beat Big 12 DBs deep, and took short passes for big gainers. it just grates on me, something fierce, to know that so many yahoo talent "evaluators" put so much stock in one or two 40 times. it's like when Kendal Wright was in "danger" of falling out of the 1st round last year, when he ran in the 4.6 range, at the combine. if you're a scout, and his game speed and athleticism don't jump out at you, then you need to find another profession. Williams and Wright are pretty different players, but the same principle holds here. As Randy Galloway likes to say, "watch the DAMN game!" and "film don't lie."
