Neubert's career high in minutes is 5. I bet he tops that in the 2nd half.
Kansas just went on a run to take the lead on the horns. 54-53 with 3:54 left
Get your KU tix now if you haven't already. There is a lot of blue in Austin.
I wish Bello would show me something. I don't see how he helps going forward unless he dramatically improves his skill set. His court sense is not good.
Wainright is basically a better version of what he brings to table. Wainright can't shoot either so you can't play Bello with Wainright.
Bello probably needs to redshirt or transfer. Feel free to disagree.
If Bello took a redshirt year and committed himself to it, he could VASTLY help his game. He's crazy athletic, but at the D-1 level you need more than that.
3 of Baylor's 4 largest margin of victory games have now some against Hardin-Simmons.
Today was Baylor's biggest win in point differential ever. They broke the mark of 66 pts vs Austin College in 1978
Totally agree. With no player development coaches on the staff he is going to be better off trabsfereing. In the right system he could be a unique talent (think that Young kid at KU only better). But he is wasting his time and talent here. Seems like a great guy too. Too bad.
You're on a mission for full retard today, aren't you X?
I'm at happy hour. Going home in a bit to get the baby sitter all set up and then going out with the wife. Life is good.
I don't like the gold helmets and I don't think our staff is capable of developing someone as raw as Duece. Does that make me full retard?
Bello is exactly what I expected him to be when he was recruited to Baylor. I never understood either his high ranking as a high school player, nor the enthusiasm with which so many Baylor fans embraced him. He never had a decent shot from out on the floor, had no midrange game, did not dribble very well, was not a skilled ball handler, and while he had the athleticism required for defense, I never thought that he played it in a manner that indicated a real understanding of what was required of him there. His game seemed to be to get to the basket and finish around the rim. If fouled, he was unreliable at the free throw line. He did not have an instinctual grasp of the game. That about covers it. And coaching this kind of player can be about as frustrating an experience as one could imagine.
Yet he was constantly referred to by Baylor fans last year as an NBA prospect. That puzzled me, as there is nothing in his game that justifies that kind of expectation or praise. He can jump high and he has good mobility for someone with his length, but the D League is full of players like that, many of them with far better skill sets than Bello.
I will be surprised if he does not choose to transfer. I do not see where his minutes will come from in the next two years.
It's not the message X, it's your delivery.
I hope you're enjoying something strong and not that 3.2 weak sauce y'all have up there!
Busted! 2 Coors Originals, but also a jack rocks. Pacing.
Ah, the banquet beer! My opinion of you increased. Keep it classy!
I hate saying it, but at this point I want to see more Prince and less Bello.
