in 2011 down the stretch (after Nov 1st), Baylor outscored opponents something like 174-92.
in 2012 down the stretch (after Nov 1st), Baylor outscored opponents 114-72
That says a lot about where our strength and conditioning program is. As the competition gets better, the Bears are the bullies at the end of the year.
some notes: not counting the fake TD by UCLA where the guy fell two yards short of the endzone.
Also, those numbers may be off a little- did some quick calculations in my head. But they are ballpark.
Let's also hope Bennett doesn't develop amnesia at the start off the season with the three-man front again.
Now if we can just figure out how to be bullies the first half of the season as well.

this will be 100% dependent on the continuity of the roster (especially on the D-line and defensive backfield) between Spring ball and Game 1 against Buffalo. Bennett's defenses seem to improve as his trust in his roster gets greater. if he's able to build that trust through the Spring and Summer, then I think we'll see better results, earlier in the season.
