About to start. Not sure Seattle is a good match up for Washington. Especially the Redskins defense.
The Skins are terribly average but they have managed to find ways to win. The offense isnt really very good, the defense is less than good...they dont really do anything that makes you say wow...but a W is a W.
Good thing is Seattle is terrible on the road this year
They have the best rushing offense in the league but they aren't good offensively?
I agree with you and I think Luck is going to be a great player but watching the game that was just on I could not believe the tomato cans Indy beat this year.
They may have beaten two good teams all year.
Have you watched the Skins this year at all? Yeah, Morris is really, really good...and Grif can run with the best of them...their offense is not good. They dont have a WR on the roster who would be playing for us and that is NOT hyperbole. They have a TE that cant catch though, so there is that. The reason they run so well is that they sure cant pass.
I know this...the Ravens are in trouble next year. That is NOT the same team when Ray Lewis isnt on the field. They were head and shoulders better this week than last with him on the field.
I heard a stat, may have been on Cowherds show Friday when talking about his picks, that the colts were the worst team in a really long time to make the playoffs. As for the skins, I hope they win but Seattle's defense is tough. Also, weird that the skins said Dr James Andrews cleared Robert to play and then he came out today and said he didn't clear him and was worried about his health. Strange.
A timeout on the second play of the game screams good coaching.
The toss sweep to the right has been as blocked as any play I have seen on three plays so far on this drive. It is just open.
I love me some RGIII but Morris might be the best rookie on the team. That kid is outstanding.
Josh Morgan has been a waste as a free agent pick up
7-0 Skins on a Griffin to Royster TD pass from the 3.
he blocks well :)
You are right
Seattle is going to have to do something about that sweep play to the right side. That was 9 yards or more on all three plays.
Skins D with a 3 and out
I didn't realize that Robert has 3 former Big 12 players on his O-Line (Oklahoma, Oklahoma, Colorado).
And 1 from SMU
Griff's hard count is awesome.
I'm with Colt, how you say that this offense is terrible? The receivers are awful, but that's not enough to discount the whole offensive unit. Morris + Griffin with even half a receiving corp is pretty salty.
Every Redskins fan should know the fight song, after every score and win or just to show your allegiance and annoy a Giant,Eagle or Cowboy fan sing the fight song loud and with passion. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS
Griffin to Paulsen for the TD and the Seahawks with the late hit on Griff who really looks very hurt.
14-0 Skins pending PAT
I am not so sure there is something not torn in that knee
I feel for Griff
He is being too tough right now
Between the Dr. Andrews controversy and just watching him move around, I'm cringing watching him play on that knee. Hope it doesn't get worse.
Kind of looks like it surely never healed. It's a shame. I assume the longer he sits the stiffer it will get.
It twisted on the throw against his body. He looks like he's going to play through it or until it implodes.
He's definitely hurting, and Seattle knows it. They'll take a 15 yard penalty on the kickoff, likely just results in a touchback.
