Like except half the players they showed in that aren't even on the team. Oh, Griffin won the heisman this year and is playing again!?!?? Kendall, J Smooth, and the firefighter are playing! We will kill UCLA!!
Those players are shown to indicate a track record of sending players to the NFL Draft.
You don't understand what the video is highlighting then do you?
Showing the 1st round draft picks since Briles has been at Baylor is a huge recruiting tool for the entrance video when recruits are in the stands. At OU their entire intro is former All Americans and Barry Switzer, it's called showcasing your program.
What you talkin bout Willis?
Sorry, I just couldn't resist.
I understand what it's doing and would expect them to use highlight reels from previous years on our stadium intro tapes for games and commercials.. Just figured for this year's bowl game, they'd give the footage to the guys that were on the field this year. And people wonder why Nick Florence doesn't get the respect he deserves..
I really don't care either way. Just not how I would have done it.

The only highlights they showed were of plays and players from this season, just kept the 1st round draft picks at the beginning of it to show the brand Briles is building.
It showcases Art as a growing legend. It's smart. Our intro videos previously were, rightfully so, aimed at rebuilding the program. This is showcasing the program. It's more confident.

This particular video is also just an edited season intro that was included in an email that was sent out encouraging people to attend the Holiday Bowl. Given that audience (mainly Baylor faithful), it's more than appropriate.
