Ian just said that we are sold out of the Founder's Suites, Premium Suites and Loge Boxes for the new stadium.
Damn. That's impressive.
might as well just go ahead and sell the whole stadium out- except for the 500 seats in the two upper corners for visitors.
I like the way you think Ashley
OK, we have sold out all of the seats for fans that no one will see or seldom hear. We greatly appreciate their financial support, for without it, there would be no new stadium. Now the important part. Selling the seats that loud, visible fans will sit in.
I think Baylor is going to sell A LOT more season tickets in 2014 than people think.
Now for those people to show up every weekend a game is played there.
Anyone know how the season ticket sales are going at this point compared to last year and the total amount sold last year?

Suicide watch for Stranger and BEAR.
Might be louder than you think considering you can drink there ;)
Here's to hoping the BT section will be the loudest in the whole stadium.
How many heads do those sold out spots make up?
Awesome thanks for posting.
I think Ian said we are around 1k ahead of where we were last year. Does anyone else remember hearing this?
In the new stadium 15-20k season ticket holders, while impressive for us right now, is not going to be near enough. We really need to shoot for the 36k season tickets sold last season by TcU. (Although I read today that they are on pace for 80% of that this year.)
When the new stadium opens a huge emphasis needs to be placed on buying season tickets, arriving to the game early enough to see the team come onto the field, being loud, etc.
I think season ticket totals will really push the deadline this year. A lot of people are trying to figure out what they can afford and how many seats they will want in the new stadium. We will sell a lot of "cheap" tickets this year for people who think they will want more tickets together when the seating is opened for Baylor Stadium. Make no mistake, there are going to be glitches, mistakes, unhappy fans, and other problems in moving, but the vast majority of what happens is going to be positive. I think we top 20,000 season tickets for this year.
