we will know the conference cares nothing about enforcing their rules with shots above the shoulders
The pride of my alma mater, Marcus High lol
He will play...
And we will still win
Did they call anything against him on that? It looks like the ref isn't making a move to do anything from what I can see there
Did he actually make contact? The way #1 kept playing makes me think this looks way worse than it actually was.
I retweeted your note to the @Big12Conference. To make sure they saw it.
Well done- Ron Artest and Thomas Robinson were suspended for games for similar elbows. Whether you land the blow is irrelevant according to the rules. The ref was staring right at it. Should have been a flagrant 2.
They clearly have no intention of calling the Flagrant 2. If Ridley's running elbow punch to Corey's throat was a 1 and this one wasn't even called in the game (or reviewed and called a 1) the 2 doesn't exist.
The good news is, we might as well play them at full strength or a win wouldn't go as far in the committee's eyes.
What game were you watching? Running elbow!? Take off your green colored glasses.
You are hilarious.
What was the call on the floor? Hard to imagine him being suspended without a flagrant 2 call on the floor. Of course I have absolutely no clue what B12 policy on this is.
X do you ever have anything positive to say? You are making BearsTruth unbearable.
I want Marcus Smart to play. I want them at their strongest, no excuses.

I'm a Marcus grad too. Go Marauders!
Nobody is making a move. The head doesn't snap back like it is hit. The defender's arms flail and the head moves with that. The defender leans back, balances, and goes after the inbounder. The other K-State player is looking right at it and doesn't stop or pause like he expects a call. He keeps running downcourt.
It looks to me to be an aggressive upward shove on a hand check. A foul yes. Not a head shot.
I think some of you guys take X way too seriously. Just buy the guy a vodka in San Antonio and he is pretty chill.
