I don't pretend to be a basketball coach but I firmly believe that we under played Prince this year and missed an opportunity to give him experience going into next year. I think we are going to like what he brings to the court for the next 3 years.
I'm going to agree with you once again.
Teams made up of 4 year type players like Taurean Prince, Ricardo Gathers, Ish Wainwright, Jonathan Moteley, LJ Rose, and Chad Rykhoeks excite me a lot more now than Perry Jones, Quincy Miller and Isaiah Austin. We will be able to watch these guys grow for four years and have a nostalgic connection with them during their senior years just like we did with Quincy Acy and Tweety Carter and very much like we did with this women's team.
I love Prince. But what is wrong with our coaching staff for missing this fact as Bearclaw pointed out... We are undefeated in games that Pierre Jackson doesn't start. Should have been bringing him off the bench all along!
And I have been imploring our coaches to play Lowery and Nuebert in crunch time--we are undefeated when those two guys play the last two minutes. Coincidence? I think not.
We don't have the talent to compete regardless of who starts.
Y'all are focusing too much on personnel and not enough on results. We finally hit 16 3-pointers in a game this year. As far as I'm concerned, I would have game planned to do that by about game #5... why it took drew 32 games to figure that out is beyond me.
Old, I agree. IMO, this is one of the ways Drew mismanaged this team. If he had played Prince more early, it would have given him more lineup options during league play.
That, and it would have been nice to have wing play like we did tonight. But, unfortunately, tonight was the exception and not the rule with Heslip/Franklin.
The dude can fill up the bucket almost as much as my wife on a boating excursion.

I tried to convince my high school coach to a similar thing. Every game I played in we won... If he would have put me in more, we would have won state.
