What are the kids saying about the strong finish to the season?
I think Bennett made some great adjustments to the defense in this second half resurgence. Is Travon and the other kids excited?
Look forward to hearing from ya!
I know for a fact kids are excited and cant wait to get to Waco. There is no more doubt in CPB being the right guys and with it being said that the freshman on campus are more athletic then the guys on the field plus this class coming in good days are ahead for Baylor no doubt. And I cant wait! !!!!!
great to hear- thanks for sharing those thoughts.
If next year's QB (Petty or Russell) has a solid season and we find a replacement for Lache/Glasco after next season, then our first year in the stadium could be very special.

Isn't Lache a sophomore? If so then hopefully we have him for the 2014 season.
Jefferson will do just fine.
Lache is gone after next season.
Think so? If he wins the Heisman or something next year I could see it, but he has the potential to break Baylor and Big 12 records at his pace and strikes me as a team player with a chip on his shoulder.
Barring injury he will probably go for something like 1500+. He is just shy of 1k this year in what amounts to 6 games. I wouldnt expect him to be back for 2014.
What's interesting about him is that he really does have the shot to break just about any run for a TD. You just never know which run it will be. Once he gets past the line he is just gone.
We will have Jefferson who is also a hell of a back.

I think Lache is gone if he has a good 2013. He'll be 4 years out of HS and ready to get paid. I don't blame him and am glad we'll still have Jefferson.
Especially at the RB position where the career longevity is shorter than most. When you can leave and get paid there, you do.
Ive talked to Lache been knowing him since middle school he's originally from Newton Texas about 30mins from Orange he is gone if he hits over 1500 next year. I expect him to have 1600 and 15+ tds Glasco will have 1200+ with 18tds
How many of our 2-deep OL do we lose next year?
Yeah I wouldn't blame him leaving after next year if he has a good season for the reasons already listed.
