Magee reminds of a young Santana Dotson. He was a bit of a tweener too. So was Albert Fontenot.
Man, we had some great def lines late 80s to mid 90s. Those above, D. Gardener, Marcus Lowe, Robin Jones...
He is pretty lean. Kazadi has cut him up pretty good. He has a narrow waist. I am not saying it is not possible but his build is that of a DE at this point. He is a lean 6-4 260 right now.
It may not be a bad idea to redshirt Jamal Palmer next season.

Banks should be 290 by fall practice, maybe more. Definitely big enough to play DT. I hope Ezell, Valdez, Masumbuko, and Blackshear have great off season's too.
I think that if the offensive line gells by the time we go to KSU, we should win the conference title. Our toughest games will be KSU, UT, TCu, OU, and the toughest will be OSU in my opinion.
barring us getting killed with injuries, i see the UT game being similar to the UT game in Waco, from 2011. we'd have won the game this past season by two scores had we been playing at home, and we damn-near pulled it off in Austin anyway.
i guess what i'm saying is that i don't see UT being one of our toughest games, but i completely agree on the other 4 you listed. those are gonna be ball-busters!
I'll take that bet on Osei. I've heard very positive things.
Btw, Osei is huge. This picture doesn't show it really, but he was bigger on the sideline with just a jersey on than our other Dlinemen were in full pads and helmet.

When you consider Magee is 260 and he looks like a WR next to him.
I think Osei plays he's a grown a$$ man that's going through a Kaz offseason if he doesn't played id be worried.
And also Magee for 6'4 260 looks small in the backside (no homo) I fully expect to see him on the field this year at 275 atleast possibly 280.
Osei said on twitter the other day he is 315. He said he did not trust the scale as he does not think he is that heavy.
That to me indicates he is leaner and has more muscle mass than even he realizes. Unless he's using a home bathroom scale that is max-ed out. Those medical grade scales at the gym are pretty darn accurate, wouldn't you think.

The thing about Osei is if the DT experiment does not work out they can always slide him back to OL
