This kid can't stay out of the news. I was a big fan of his at Tivy, of course. Even at Aggie early on. But he's completely lost me.
He will self destruct - guaranteed.
We all know what's going to happen. We're just waiting for the fuse to ignite.
Ridiculous expectations ALWAYS pay off for the Aggie QB's, right?
My prediction is that he eventually is a kept man and steals his girlfriend's car. Gets tossed in prison. Warden pressures him to play on his team but he organizes a prisoner team to play against the guards' team.
What you did there... I see.
I honestly thought he was going to drive a stabbin' cabin in Idaho and film himself throwing winning touchdown passes to the desert while being made fun of by his two dysfunctional nerd nephews.

He didn't win state either.
I keep telling you guys that he is the Lindsey Lohan of college football
i'd be more concerned about the 3 picks against that really average agsy secondary, if i'm one of their fans!!!
in all seriousness though, i doubt that any of this behavior is all that new or surprising to folks at agsy. it's just that now it's being publicized b/c of Maziel's early success and "celebrity". he'll keep getting away with it, which will make him feel more entitled, which will lead to more erratic behavior. it would be great, for him, if he could get it under control, and not come off as such a schmuck, but he's shown no evidence of being able to do that, and from what i've heard about his folks/dad, they won't be any help in the matter.
say what you will about the "scandals" surrounding Cam Newton and Reggie Bush, but neither one of those guys were half the jackass that Manziel has been in his short time in college. i know Newton had the whole laptop incident, at Florida, but he steered clear of the law after that, and a close friend of mine has met him on several occassions, and he said that Newton was one of the most polite and respecting guys to be around.
anyway, best of luck to Manziel in getting his $#!% together, but i wouldn't be real confident that this will end very well for agsy.
i saw this yesterday and im giddy w/ anticipation for his downfall. whether its a meltdown on or off the field its gonna be great and the aggy meltdown will be glorious to watch.
This is what I thought to be honest. Go read the tamu 247 review of the scrimmage and they brush off his interceptions as nothing but I would be worried about his decision making. They seem to forget their complete luck win at Ole miss when JF had 5 or 6 turnovers by himself.
Newton is back at Auburn and I have it on really good authority that he is very much enjoying his college experience with his female classmates, ifyouknowwhatimean.
So you mean Aggy will enter the season with a lot of hype and will be unable to meet thier lofty expectations?!?!
yeah, i read that he was back on campus for the Spring Semester. that's kind of funny, too, in a Manziel related, sort of way. Manziel is too big of a deal to attend actual classes, after winning the Heisman, but Newton isn't too big of a deal to attend actual classes after winning a Heisman, NFL Offensive ROY, NFL ROY, and playing two seasons in the League.
as for Newton, and his female classmates, if he didn't take advantage of that, there would be some serious concerns about his orientation....ifyouknowwhatimean!
