Scheduling an interview with Matt for tomorrow. Any questions you want asked- post here.
He stole the title that I had for my forthcoming chronicles circa 1994 of trolling around Scruffy Murphy's close to 2:00 am with beer goggles fully engaged. Damn you, Matt Sayman!
This quote also explains my life from 1995-97. Damn those tall bourbon and cokes!
Ask him if there is anyway we can get him in the game on Saturday to sink some clutch free throws to help put Kansas away like he did in '01. If he wants to bring a friend, perhaps Terry Black, that would be ok too. We can even bring back Kirk Heinrich and recreate the posterization.
On a serious note, I'm really looking forward to this interview as well as the book. I don't have a question, but If you could let Matt know that he and the rest of the "leftovers" have a very special place in the hearts of Baylor fans. I'm incredibly proud of the guys who stuck with Baylor instead of taking the easy way out.
Matt Sayman is a guest on ESPN-Central Texas today at 4:20pm. Thanks to Ashley Hodge for the heads-up.
Podcast Link of the interview now included:

I'm definitely looking forward to reading this book as it will be interesting to hear an insider view of what happened.
I interviewed Matt today- really enjoyed it. I invited him to join us here at bearstruth so hopefully he will join in the conversation and add some insights on his book and a lot of other basketball related info.
I'll probably listen to Smoaky's interview later- link it in the article and then add some details from our conversation that he didn't cover with Smoaky. We talked for around 45 minutes.
Probably an awesome dude and owed an eternal debt of gratitude for staying around but his place on this team would have been limited.
Book should be a good read.
I would have preferred Sayman over Walton or Franklin.
Will the book be on Amazon?
I would order (and read) it if it was.
