In 2010, I offered him $15,000 for the site. He refused my offer. I later heard the Dorr Brothers, and a behind the scenes, Buddy Jones offered $20,000. That offer was turned down also.
Jason's mom would love for him to sell the site. He won't do it. She knows my offer still stands today.
Jason is a very unique kind of guy. The site is his pass time. Money means nothing to him. The ownership of the site does. He got married about 2 years ago, and they are expecting. With more mouths to feed, things might change.

“He'll outwork you, outthink you and he'll cut your throat,” one coach said about Briles. “He's one tough son of a _____.”
Buddy Jones owning any site that frequently ridicules him is not an option in my book.
Your name's Lebowski, Lebowski. Your wife is Bunny.
Yeah, not a fan of the idea of a regent or someone like that owning the site. Baylor has its own outlets to get its message across. It's just the regents have historically done a horrible job at that. Really, the people driving our messaging are Art Briles, Scott Drew, and Kim Mulkey. The regents are just trying to catch up. It's truly miraculous we're having the success we're having given their ineptitude in the leadership and vision department.
Buddy has served a purpose for Baylor, but I'm looking forward to his official leadership role in the university ending.
