I don't see this getting anywhere, but will be interesting to follow. An A&M alum introducing a bill to force the schools to play. Failure to do so would result in loss of athletic scholarships. Not sure the state can even do that. Nonetheless, here it is:
Aggy inferiority complex strikes again. I swear those guys are loons.
I got an earful from two aggies at a soccer game recently still mad that UT won't play them. GOI (get over it).
Working at the capital and with lawmakers the past few weeks, I can tell you that more people laugh at the bill than read it. Had Texas A&M not pulled off this season it would not even be talked about.

I bet the non-aggy constituents in this reps district are really pleased with how he has spent his time so far this congressional season...
Ah, the aggys. Once again they are the turd in the punchbowl.

No kidding. I'm sure glad our representatives are spending their time on such important matters. If they spend the time to bring this to the floor and vote, each and every member should be beat with a stick.
aggy epic fail
Can we get Kim Mulkey called as a witness in the hearings on this bill. I think her testimony would be persuasive.
It's pointless anyway. They will play again. It will be a few years, but I don't think more than 10, but they'll move past this and start the series back up. This is a waste of time by this rep.
Pro Ecclesia, Pro Mundus
They should amend that bill to say that because rivalries are so important that aggy TT, UT and Baylor are required to play each other. aggys would come unhingned about the prospects of a schedule that went UT+TT+BU+FCS+SEC.
aggy gonna aggy
I have a friend who recently moved to South Carolina. He said they do indeed have a law on the books that forces SC to play Clemson every year. So there is a precedent here. The states control the funding to these schools.
Wait. Hold on a... I thought Aggies were above using legalities in football/conference realignment.
Never go full Aggie
You forgot TCU... no room for FCS.

Fortunately for us we'd not be obligated to it. They can force their state institutions to do as they say, but it'd be a lot harder for them to mandate private schools do much of anything. Maybe if they also agreed to increase the TEG program we'd be more amenable to the idea.
Besides, while I'd love to have an SEC opponent on our schedule, I'd rather it be a new one and not a tired one that wore out its welcome decades ago. They may be in the SEC now, but we've been there and done that with the aggys. Give me Florida, Georgia, Tennessee or Bama. Someone new. We get zip out of playing aggy.

The aghats wanted out of the Big 12. They're out, and UT is no more obligated to play them than anyone else in the Big 12.
It's really no more complicated than that.
This is an example of why it's always better when the legislature is out of session.
Lookie here cubs this is just plain dumb a lot of aggys how you say do not want this now you might want to ask your self this why would we want to give up our turkey day or weekend against lsu???
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It is already tomorrow in Australia. - charles m Schulz
Was that aggy engrish?
Retards. The entire lot of them are mere retards.
Your an idiot and I was being serious about the ? And as far as aggy that's your engrish well we say aggie and you say aggy!!
I don't know if you noticed iam typing from my phone
Being on a mobile device does not give you carte blanche to be an illiterate imbecile.
Of course, if you're an aggy, that comes naturally.
If you're not an aggy, do better.
I never understood the need for aggy retards to troll Baylor pages. There is not one single iota of intelligence on their pages so perhaps that is it, but still it is confusing. Also confusing is why we let these retards run amok on our boards. If you make even one comment on their boards you get banned for a year even if that comment was accurate and polite. Retards. The entire lot of them. I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.
What's a iota? what's an aggy?
