pitiful- looks like terrorism. Two casualties confirmed so far. Very sad- may God bring peace to the situation.
My cousin has a friend whose husband and daughter were waiting at the finish line for her, and they can't be contacted. Please pray for everyone involved.
At least 3 dead, dozens with missing limbs at hospitals. This is awful. Prayers for everyone.
My paralegal's brother and sister in law were running. Cell service is jammed due to volume, but text messages got through.
But keep in mind that most runners don't take cells with them. Brother did not respond until he got back to his stuff.
My cousin Laura ran today. Still no word from her or my Aunt.
Edit: just got word that she finished prior to the bombs and they are both okay.

This is just sad and unbelievable. Prayers for all in Boston.
Don't know if this will help anybody on here, but Smoaky said you can locate family members by calling (617) 635-4500.
Fox News reporting that authorities are guarding a "person of interest" with severe burns at one of the hospitals.
Hope its the bad guy, but two things jump to mind:
1) This seems to be a fairly large attack to be managed by a single individual, and
2) remember Richard Jewell.
I hope they have someone involved if for no reason other than the intelligence to find out how it happened. Usually there isn't enough left of the bombers to ask questions.
Like the kid at OU?
Prayers to all injured or affected.
I ran the race today, finished about an hour before the explosions. Please keep the victims families in your prayers. The people of Boston and the communities along the race route literally put their heart and soul into this race. There are millions of fans along the entire route cheering for everyone despite their ability. I am confident the cowardly acts of these terrorists will not deter the people of Boston and MA from continuing to host this amazing international event. Lets hope and pray that the perpetrators of this event will be captured soon and brought to justice.
Congrats on finishing something I never will and for letting us know you're safe.

As long as that truck wasn't loaded with pesticides and other easily bought items.
