South Carolina's board is also a comparable size, its 124 x 36 ft and is 4464 sq ft. It is also a little easier to picture it in our stadium because it is in the open end of their stadium. This thing is going to be HUGE in our place.

South Carolina's stadium is cool.
I sure thought it was going to be cool to have an open look to the river and campus (just beyond the bear habitat). a mega video board will be cool, but I hate the idea of blocking the view.
I think people greatly overestimate what the view would be from most of the stadium. You'd have to be pretty high up to really see anything so I don't see the board really interfering with that. What matters is the stadium's picturesque setting on the river and that the television cameras perched up high have a great shot looking back across the river at campus, not that Joe and Betty Baylor in section 101 can gaze at the Science Building from their seats.
Brian and company need to get their spies over to Bear Run and get a copy of the new renderings so we can either relax or let all hell break loose because our stadium is ruined!

thats a pretty good point. I just have a vision in my mind of Saturday at dusk and watching the sun set on the steeples of Old Main at kickoff. Of course, the Brazos is also crystal blue in my mind...
Kirch's point is also valid.. its not like the board is going to block out the entire scene.
or that our eyes can focus that far away after cold beverages.
VERY valid point
