I am a huge hunter and love spending time outdoors more than I love going to Baylor games. Yes, that's right.. But this is disgusting. Anyone associated with WVU should be ashamed of this idiot. This bear couldn't have been more than 6 or so months old. As if I needed a reason to hate that fan base. Truly might be worse than aggies.

I am cooling on the WVU fan base. They may replace the Ags on more than the gridiron. I've seen more than a few blame the Big 12 on relegating them to the Pinstripe Bowl, believing there is a conspiracy against them. (Not bothering to consider they lost 5 straight games before finally beating Kansas to end the season). We were warned by fans if other BE schools. If course, the idiots are a minority, but they reflect badly in the entire fanbase. I've even seen some want to go back to the BE or join the ACC or SEC.
Perhaps I was just a bit ticked that this fool did this for fun to piss off Baylor fans. Trying to figure out if that idiot is their actual mascot. I hope we beat them to a pulp on the field next year. .
Ok, now back to studying for something even that's worse than aggies and mountaineers shooting puppies err bear cubs... A Civil procedure final exam at 6pm.
Removed- wonder if anyone caught a copy?

What in the world...why would he do that? I just don't understand...
That is totally idiotic.
I seriously think with the fight song and crap it they were just trying to piss off baylor fans and/or do some grand act of school pride.
I suspect we will see this video "trending" shortly and on the front page of Yahoo! soon after that.
What an idiot! And I'm an avid hunter.

Forrest Gump's mama says "Stupid is as stupid does"
First, let me state that I am a gun owner and grew up around hunting. But I have never understood the fascination with killing animals. I attended an attorney's wake once which was held at his home. I knew that he had hunted around the world, but I wasn't prepared to see what I saw in his den. Mounting after mounting of magnificient animals that he paid guides to put him in slaughter range with high tech rifles and scopes. Animals that mate for life, beautiful majestic animals, it didn't matter. I was sickened by the sight and lost most respect for him. I just don't understand the need to kill for "fun" I guess and as I said I am a gun owner who could use my weapons for self defense, but not slaughter without a valid purpose.
Part of it is that it costs a ton of money to go big game hunting in Africa, have the animals stuffed and sent back to the States. A lot of it is a status symbol at that level.
I love hunting. I am a gun-owner myself and am proud of it. However, I DON'T get the need to trophy hunt. Some of it is culture (we used to get an excused absence from junior/sr high school for deer season), and some of it is sustenance (I grew up in a very rural/poor area of Illinois).
But I was raised that you had to eat what you kill, whether that be fish, fowl or critter.
This... this strikes me as just being a bit of a prick.
Can you hunt Bears with dogs? Doesn't seem to be much sport to having a pack of dogs tree a bear and then have target practice from 30 feet.
Ever heard of coon hunting?
I also don't think this is a baby or a cub. That's a large bear. Probably more considered an adolescent, like whoever suggested it would be like shooting a 2-year old deer.
raccoons are different. Unregulated.
Can't hunt deer with dogs in Texas i know that for sure.
Raccoons are seen as a varmint. Been coon hunting before and just a beating running through fields at night to find a coon dog treeing a coon then the find the thing up there. Coon doesn't taste bad. Bear is tough. Goat is better than both.
Cabrito, cooked the right way, is very, very good.
Yes Sir. Especially with some good tequilla in Monterrey, Mexico!
