Curry pulling for Aggies?

We all know there's no love loss between Mulkey and Curry, but it's pretty rare to see a coach publically pull for a team other than their own. A snippet from a DMN article about the Lady Bears' game against A&M tomorrow:
After seeing maybe A&M’s best effort of the season in a 79-51 loss to the Aggies on Saturday, Texas Tech coach Kristy Curry offered a thought.
“You have to hope they saved a little bit for Monday,” Curry said.

Curry has been out recruited and out coached by Mulkey since she arrived in the league, she has nothing but hate for Baylor. Curry also coach's her players to play dirty not hard the way Baylor plays. The last game they took several cheap shots a the Lady Bears , and our lady's just let it go. I think she hopes to start trouble and to get Baylor players ejected from the game.

In WBB, WE are the big bad bullies who everyone wants to see cut down to size. UConn probably has to deal with the same them-against-the-rest-of-the-conference attitudes.

That's true. Except UConn has been supplanted by Notre Dame in the Big East. A close call, like last night, was probably good for us. It's not very often the first string has to play an entire game, and in foul trouble.
