Has anyone seen this video of the high school kids in Washington? Seems like every team had one of these guys in the DC area when I played high school basketball. I remember taking an elbow to the throat from a guy who played LB at the University of Virginia after his high school days and couldn't breathe or swallow right for about a week.
I'm glad that YouTube captures some of this stuff because it is not basketball. The officials are at fault for not cleaning that up earlier.

The referees allowed these fouls to occur the entire game. Not a single technical, intentional/flagrant foul was ever called. The W.I.A.A. needs to take a closer look at this before a player suffers a serious injury. Each foul is replayed (in order) at different speeds multiple times for closer review. The video speaks for itself...

#3 and #5 were terrible-- that dude just looked like a prick-- I would have had a hard time staying calm if I was playing/ watching that game

Where are the parents, coaches, and administrators? They all should be ashamed to have let #34 even be out there acting like that.
Also is he wearing combat boots?

Does that kid even care about basketball or is just something to do since it's not football season anymore? Unbelievable. On a couple of the fould I would understand the ref giving him the benfit of the doubt but warning him about the severity, but once he committed more than one he should have been gone. no questions asked. That would have resulted in bench clearing brawl in my high school games.

As a parent, the one at the 3:00 mark would've resulted in assault of a minor charges against me. That chubby little bastard would be eating through a straw for 6 weeks.

The coach of that team is to blame as well. For fouls 1,3 and 5 there was clear intent to hurt the kid on the other end. If that is being coached, then the coach of that team should be held accountable. The fact that the kid smirks after each foul and the coach does not remove him permanently from the game leads me to believe it is being coached.

Wow those were awful to watch. That #34 should have ejected for sure.
Also, I have never seen so many fat kids playing what looks like varsity basketball. Its a wonder they can even run the court. Actually, that's probably the cause of the fouls because they are too winded to play good defense.

He's not playing basketball. He's playing football. Or rugby.
Probably doesn't know how to play at all but was put in there to have a big body in the paint.
Still, he should have been kicked out of the game and maybe off the team.
