  • Cuppycup is another typical Texags tool. Not really funny but loves ripping on us.

    We have to have a sense of humor about ourselves. Our stadium looks amazing and it will be better than anything in the Big12 when it is finished... but it does sort of resemble a toilet seat from above.

  • It's cute when aggys and horns try to talk trash about campus architecture and aesthetics. They have some of the ugliest campuses in the country, and their stadiums look like what you find in a toilet. For aggys though stadium trash talk is ALL they have. And they only have that over a handful of programs. In the SEC, they'll have it over maybe three. I suspect Vandy is going to be their primary rival. Though they'll deny it with every last breath they have. It's just aggy. They can't hang with the big boys, so they try to brag about how big their stadium is to a bunch of private schools.

    i'm definitely one to be able to laugh at myself and my school, but sorry, images of people taking a dump on our stadium are just not funny to me.

    I think it's really just a joke. They know their campus looks like crap. And having 50K students brainwashed into thinking it isn't, won't change anything. The Aggies I know are all jealous. Especially the one who sent me this.

    A school that puts steeples on a parking garage really shouldn't be so defensive.

  • I think it's great stuff.

    Clearly, we are relevant to the discussion, because these rivals of ours can't quit talking about us. The day they ignore us is the day I'll worry.

    The biggest irony, though, is that the Breaching Members are leaving their rivalries behind. Much of their discussion, among each other, on talk radio, and on internet forums, is about the Cows and the Bears (as it should be), and they're going away. Somehow, I think they're going to miss it.

    Yeah, it will still look like crap. Big yeah. But still crap. Just like the rest of your campus. Plus everything I had heard was it was going to be an expansion project. Not a brand new stadium. Also heard you guys are using the same firm we're using. Keep your fingers crossed.

    yeah, i get it that our stadium looks like a toilet, which is just one unfortunate side effect to an otherwise great venue.

    i also know they are just pictures, hence the use of the word "images" in my post.

    you're the one that needs to lighten up, dude, since you seem to be beside yourself that some people don't find humor in the same thing you do. i'm not angry about the .gif...i just don't find it funny.

    They are scheduled to release early designs and cost estimates in September, which is when fundraising will be announced.

    Only thing that has been announced for sure is that they hired Populous. Details out there right now are only fan speculation. Who knows what they'll end up doing? Doing too much is going to rile up too many aggys. Most logical thing to do is just fill in the gaps and make it a bowl instead of a tackle box and put some fresh paint on it. If they do more than that it's just overkill.
