Good Send Off For the Ags

  • I just wish we had beat them in football this year. We killed them in MBB, WBB and baseball. Good luck in the SEC Ags. I really don't know that they won't be competitive I just think their fans are going to hate having to go to a basketball, football or baseball game in another state all the time. Couldn't happen to a bigger bunch of idiots.

  • If we could have beat them in football I could have died this year as happy as I probably ever will be lol

^^^^^ Know EXACTLY what you mean for sure! I'm wondering if my dad's gonna return from the dead cuz he wants to watch this! Wondering if him and some of his ole time Baylor baseball buds are gonna walk in from some cornfield like in field of dreams and be laughing and joking their arse off about how BU's beating everyone? Watching all this makes me think ANYTHING'S possible, ya know?

Yeah, but they have somehow turned that loss into a great present to us because they can't let it go. They've made it their super bowl. It's the highlight of their year. You always prefer the win, but that loss has had a silver lining.

that cant let it go b/c it's the last time they've beaten us in anything that matters!

good riddance to those clowns, and i hope this season is a precursor to a long future of losing in the $EC!!!

  • The best thing about that loss (if there is such a thing) is that it makes them looks stupid when that's the only thing they hang their hat on for this football season. I sleep easy at night knowing Baylor won a Heisman, won 10 games, won a highly-watched and exciting bowl game, and is going to have the #2 draft pick and future face of a franchise.

You bring that up to any aggie and they respond with "55-28". lol

Kindve sounds like the "35-34" response we all caught hell for. My how times have changed.

  • The best thing is that in your greatest football season EVER, you still don't have scoreboard. You've won twice since 1985 against us.

2-23-1 over 26 years...Thanks for playing but you will always be "little brother" Baylor

Lololol. Y'all can call us whatever you want cuz in a month or so we don't have to have so much as a thought about you again.

Lol. Little brother. Go get your f**kin shine box. You misspelled your username btw. It's Spelled with a 'p' not a 't'.

And that scoreboard only matters to the aggies. NO ONE else cares nor talks about it. We were your super bowl. If you want scoreboard, by all means you can have it. I'd rather have the Heisman, 10 wins, and great publicity and branding the rest of this great year has given us. A year that you sad boys can only dare to dream to ever accomplish with your dysfunction and delusions leading you.

Scoreboard is only touted when you have nothing else to show for your efforts. Like us when we beat you guys in OT a few years back. Not a great year, but hey we had scoreboard. Really mattered didn't it? The Battle of the Brazos record only matters to aggies because it's really all they have going for them and now they won't even have that. Try selling kids on that record now. You guys have assured that it will never matter again. Then what are you going to do?

By the way, just a fair warning and a friendly heads up, you guys are sounding A LOT like us during the last 15 years. Moral victories, silver linings, scoreboard bragging backdropping a dismal year. It's a slippery slope, especially in the SEC where schools who can't perform use their conference membership to take up the slack for the lack of their own accomplishments. Just be careful.

    Oh, and you're still aggie.

I applaud you for coming to play. But if Aggies measured success by the result of 1 game, you wouldn't have fired Sherman and you'd be happy with your season. Fact of the matter is saying "scoreboard" to us is kind of like Iowa State saying "scoreboard" to Oklahoma State. It's indicitive of the result of 1 game, not the entire body of work. You can have your small victory. I'll take the Heisman, Alamo Bowl win, insane amounts of free publicity, Elite Eight, National Champion, Baseball dominating season any day of the week compared to one victory. Good luck fixing all that is wrong with your athletics while you still have a large fan base of idiots who pretend like you're relevant. In ANYTHING.

I will trade scoreboard for a Heisman trophy and 10 wins all day long.

Serious question, which of these seasons would you prefer?

    A) Texas a&m wins 10 games...losing only to Baylor, Oklahoma State, and Kansas State...and Tannehill wins the Heisman trophy. The aggies also win the Valero Alamo Bowl against Washington in record-breaking epic fashion.

    B) Texas a&m wins 7 games, and one of those 7 wins was against Baylor. The aggies also win the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas against Northwestern in a game nobody watched.

Yea....stick to throwing out insults and sayin youll never have to think about us again. Cus you got no rebuttle. Your 15 minutes is tickin down fast. Better enjoy.

BTW take your ball and go home. Maybe y'all can have a few more successful seasons now that y'all won't have to take a loss to us every year.

Baylor has won 32.87% of the time against Texas a&m.

Texas a&m has won 33.48% of the time against Texas.

You can't have it both ways. If Baylor is Texas a&m's "little brother" then that makes Texas a&m...

interesting that you say for us to take our ball and go home. you guys kinda set the bar pretty high on doing that by heading east b/c you were tired of being UT's little brother.

as for not having to worry about the juggernaut aggie football program, WVU and TCU have both played in more BCS games than you clowns, so i think the conference will be plenty tough with the loss of you guys.

bye bye now, and congratulations on now pissing away another conference championship this year where you were a pre-season favorite by many!

  • I'm not tryin to claim scoreboard for last year. I've always hated aggies that say "oh, but we beat Texas so everything is great".

What I'm tryin to say is at your best, you still cannot beat us head up. I give you major props on the season last year but if you want to start a thread about "good send off for the ags", let's take a look at what you've accomplished against us. I'd say 2 wins in 26 years is pretty piss poor.

Weve never treated the Baylor game as our SuperBowl. Its more like playing an easy opponent and a guaranteed win every year. Maybe ya'll should've taken the game a little more serious over the years. Oh wait... y'all did.

So congrats on the good year but as I said before enjoy the 15 min cus it's ticking fast. You're record in Big12 conference games is 24-104 INCLUDING last year. Maybe y'all should debate a possible move to C-USA and competition y'all can better handle.

Now that we have gotten on the right track, we are 54-9 against the Big 12 this season in the four major sports. I think we are fine.

To contrast, the aggies are 28-32 against the "inferior" Big 12. If a&m can't get to .500 against the Big 12, I would hate to see how they do against the supposedly "superior" SEC. Yikes.

Great to see beating Baylor in football is the ultimate measuring stick of success in College Station these days.

    My how times have changed.

Run along now to your new conference little aggy. Talk about taking the ball and going home (changing conferences).

Good send off for the Ags has more to do with recent performance than the last 26 years.

You returned almost your entire team from a 10 win team, including most noteably the skill position players, and it took you a bowl game to get to 7 wins.

On the flip side Baylor had a year that you would sacrifice you're best sheep for and the ONLY thing you can say this year is 'scoreboard.' That's it. That's all you have.

Tell me the last time A&M has been relevant in football and by what criteria you determine that. Answer me that question. Likewise why don't you go ahead and include the 4 major sports and tell me what your criteria is.

I do like that you're over here defending your school and I wish we could get more opposing fans and come over to debate. Just leave USMCAG over there though, he brings a very elementary vocabular and his schtick is boring.
