I did not see the game but Smith is used as a blocking eligible TE on running plays

looks like JSmooth's days may be numbered. Traded by the Rams after numerous attempts, goes to Jets and can't start on a lame offense. Very possibly will get moved (or just cut) by the Jets this off season. Time is ticking... I really hope his next stop is a good one.

Multiple concussions in an extremely short time frame will do that......
Good thing he got selected so high before they put in the new rookie pay scales. That rookie contract was 6 years and $33M guaranteed.
Wouldn't be shocked if he is cut after the season and never plays another down of football, but if he was smart with his money he is still set for life and hopefully doesn't have other medical issues later in life to do the concussions.

He was very smart with his money. I think he bought an F-350, a reasonable house, and one for his mom. Most around him didn't try to bleed him.
