Agreed, but we have to look at the bigger picture. All of our players who are in the NFL make an effort to come back to Baylor, help where they can, and talk openly about how much the University has meant to them. Jason Smith has a huge BU tatted on his arm! Robert adds to that pedigree of world-class athletes and great people to represent Baylor.

I feel like we have a Heisman winner on our hands now and that adds to the lore surrounding Baylor. Our recruiting is going to really pick up steam. We won 9 games, got a Heisman winner, a new stadium on the way. Robert has been incredible in helping us achieve all of these things. He deserves to go pro and be a top 5 pick. As Baylor fans, I think it's safe to say that we all want the best for him. No reason to have him come back and get injured like Bradford did.

i totally get the big picture impact of him winning the Heisman Trophy, and we always knew that there would eventually be a last game that he played for BU. Selfishly, i was hoping to have more than just a few weeks to prepare for that last game though. he deserves every ounce of attention that he's gotten, and he has done so much for the school and football program that i'll be happy for him, regardless of his decision for next season. there also is no doubt in my mind that he will continue to be an ambassador for BU, even after he is playing in the NFL.

all that said, it's been so much fun watching him play at Baylor that it'll be a sad day when it all comes to an end, whenever that occurs.
