I agree, and I actually think it is kinda a big deal. Not only is it a hindrance to the gameday atmosphere, it looks awful on TV. I hate knowing that when people tune in to a Baylor game it looks like we're playing in a high school gym when they see the big white walls and the band and bear pit standing on what looks like risers borrowed from the choir department.

Georgia Tech opened their newly remodeled basketball arena this year, McCamish Pavillion. I encourage you guys to look it up. The place started as basically an older version of the FC and they were able to go in and add a club level and upper deck, as well as give the lower seating bowl a more modern shape, while keeping the main structure in tact. We've often wondered how you would go about updating the FC and I think what GT did could be the blueprint.

Not possible to duplicate the Dean Dome or Cameron Indoor. But could learn some things from Wake Forest and NC State's arena. Probably bigger than Baylor needs, but eventually there will need to be some adjustments to Ferrell. IMO, Wake has an incredible arena. It's gorgeous inside and out.

Wow. If that can be done for under $50M Baylor needs to take a serious look at duplicating that renovation as the next big project. Just hire the same guys and say we'll have that in green.

I remember GT and BU having nearly identical arenas before they did the renovation.
