Just got invited to the combine... That is huge for him, he will wind up being a solid #2-#3 receiver for a long time in the NFL

He will test very well at the combine.
Three or four more Bears should be drafted this year; Williams, Wade, Sampson and possibly Florence.

I think he will be 5-11 an change, 200+ and under 4.40
That is not shabby. He still has better football ahead. He has always been the other guy with Wright, Gordon, Williams, Reese. He even was playing with Gettis and Smith as a redshirt freshman.

He tests extremely well. Every time he tests it is 4.31, 4.32, 4.34. He is just one of those guys that has always tested well all the way back to the Army All-American combine where he ran a 4.4+ on a turf where nobody runs a 4.4

Timed at 4.34 in 40-yard dash... Has squatted 600 pounds and benched 375 pounds... Recorded 21 reps of 225-pound bench press

If he goes and pushes 21 reps he'll get looks and then bust the 4.3 he'll shoot into the 3rd-4th.

I wish the Cowboys would draft him. He would be their #3 WR from day one and by the end of his rookie year might be the best on the team.

Sat with him at the Linebacker Club dinner before the season and to add to all of his athletic ability he will wow the teams that interview him with his smarts... Already had his undergrad taken care of before this season and is working on his masters.
Would love to see him with the hometown Cowboys

He started before Josh Gordon. He started before Terrance Williams. That is what the coaches have thought about him as a complete player. He also has that streak of catches that may go back to that freshman season.

His nickname at Baylor is "The Diplomat" so that should tell you something. Also, they capped him and Goodley from going up in weight on squats (600ish), so that should also tell you something.

With WR's and RB's I will assume low 4.5's because every year there are guys who you think will blow the doors off and they don't.

etc.
It will be interesting to see how his combine stats (and other BU guys too) match up with full speed fridays.
Does anyone have a record of what the stats from it were last year?

I don't have exact numbers but I know that Lanear was running the best times on offense other than Tevin Reese over the last 2 years, and that includes Kendall.

Really happy for Lanear. In addition to his athletic ability, we've always been incredibly impressed with him off the field as well.

Lanear is one of the best blocking receivers I've seen. He could be a poor man's Hines Ward.
