I am frustrated like everyone else. Even watching the ESPN All-Access weirded me out more than made me feel good. The coaching style seemed, and probably was, staged for TV but frantic and too high energy. The players did not interact much, they were mostly being coached AT rather than involved in the conversation ala Coach K (if you have seen some of his practices taped). Anyway, to that end, I have a concern.

Here is what I have nightmares about. We all dump on Drew and the team this season. I suspect they are WAY more frustrated with themselves than we are as armchair fans. PJ3 leaves (he should for his sake at this point, get some of that NBA money), Miller decides to go as well because he is first rounder. Drew, because of family health issues with parents, surprises and bolts for the Midwest (Illinois, somewhere near Indiana). That releases Isiah Austin, Gathers and Rose (some follow him, others jump to Aggies or UT). All of a sudden, where we think we are now somehow big time, like we don't have the history that we have, therefor evolved to the point of dumping on a 5 loss team (and more to come quickly) and suddenly, we are good ole Baylor again. Rocking out next year with a new coach, Walton, Pierre, Cory and need I say more. Let's just agree that we cannot become that "typical" fan that we end up not knowing what we've got till it's gone.

Criticism is more than OK, just a guy late at night worrying about not appreciating what we have gained in the past eight years! I will shut up and go to bed.
