NBA Draft Combine

I meant to post this earlier but forgot. ESPNU has covered the combine today. I taped 9 am -1 pm, but there is a 2 hour replay from either 5-7 or 6-8...cant remember for sure.
The info on the replay specifically mentioned Quncy Acy, so hopefully they show his drills.
ESPN3 is also covering it live online.

You can rewatch the entire thing from that link. Just skipped all the PG and SG workouts - watched QMiller in the SF group brick a ton of 3's. Perry and Acy coming up working in the PF category.

They really need to improve the watchability of this NBA combine. Half the time they are showing the talking heads and not the players working out. It's really frustrating to watch. I see Acy working hard but every time you get a little video of the action, they will go to an interview or show the announcers. Really poor.

Quincy Acy measured 7'3" on the wingspan. We knew he was long. A shocker- Thomas Robinson also measured 7'3". That won't hurt his stock.

I just realized I was missing a deciding game 6 because I had the combine on. and on dvr at that. I think I have a problem.
I find wingspan measurements very intriguing. it seems that it should be more important that height. who cares where your head ends up when you jump right?

Acy has the same standing reach as Perry. Wow. And more than Tyler zeller, miles plumlee,
And massive hands. Those will certainly help him be drafted.

Always wondered why they didn't do a standing reach straight up? Wouldn't that be just as important as heighth or wingspan? Or is this something they do? You just never seem to hear about it.

as he just mentioned ,they do a reach measurement. chad ford has been tweeting heights, wingspans, and reaches today.
