  • BU has 8. This class is going to be special.
OSU hauled in 6 so far.
    TCU and OU 5 each.
Aggy leading the way with a great class. UT is up there too.

  • Aggy class is solid, but Derrick Griffin is a stretch to get in at best. Will Kohl Stewart stick with football?

Back to Griffin, he can't catch a basketball in the low post, is he really going to make catches across the middle in the sec, sec, sec? This looks like the rest of their classes which amounted to .500 Big 12

  • I don't understand how the Rivals rankings can be so far behind the curve on Rhodes. He's ranked as the 42nd best receiver in the country, not even sniffing the 250. Are they just that poor at evaluating? I always brushed off the whole "they don't really look at Baylor commits" as a conspiracy theory, but I'm really starting to believe that it's true. They have to be pandering to the big schools for them to miss this one as badly as they have.

I've thought this for years. Aggie has recruited pretty well for about a decade. But if you talk to them, then the "well was dry when coach X got here." I'm interested to see how their class performs in the next 4 years, but on paper, it's stacked.

Griffin will not get in, not even with the SEC rules.

Stewart will go play baseball (and Ag will tell you it doesnt matter, he wasnt their QB of the future anyway...they are right but for the wrong reason)

Ed Ray (Ag's sole DT from 2012) appears to be non qual as well.

Sumlin is recruiting well. I think the fact that he is black #noracist and that there is excitement about the SEC move really helps. Course, when they suck again this year who knows how that will work. Ag has the exact same advantages in the SEC they had in the Big 12 and, frankly, if they ever hire the right gut at coach they could be really good really quick. That just hasnt happened since King Kong was a chimp.

Are you suggesting aggy should hire Rob Ryan?

Rivals is the most credible recruiting source out there. 247 is still building its resume` and I fully expect them to compete well with Rivals over time.

Regarding Rhodes, if Briles likes him, I like him. Briles has more than proven that he knows how to evaluate WRs that fit his system perfectly...whether they're highly rated like Wright or not.
