Won't pursue a career in the NFL... Will talk to Smoaky today about his decision.

Baylor QB Nick Florence, just told me he will not attempt to play in the NFL and he'll join us during today's show to discuss his decision.
Kinda a bummer as I thought he would be picked up in the later rounds of the draft.

HA that's pretty funny. I don't blame him though. I had strategic management with Nick during the summer of 2011 before graduating and he may have been the smartest person in the classroom.
Bottom line, Nick is a smart man, a winner and will succeed at whatever he endeavors after college.

yep, you know that whatever he decides to do will be an incredibly thoughtful decision.
I would liked to have seen him give the NFL a shot though.

If there was any chance he would make a roster, I don't see what it would have hurt to try.
But best of luck to him moving forward, sure wish he was coming back for another year.

Yeah, Im not sure it makes any sense. If you can make a roster you can get set up pretty well and donate everything to your "church group"...or whatever makes you happy.
