OT: Cheap shot in college baseball game

Did you all see this? Pitiful. A left fielder comes running and just lights up the guy standing at 2nd base with his back turned. Could have been a very serious injury.
It is about 20 seconds into the video.

Wow, and is it really necessary for the PA guy to start playing "Who let the dogs out" when that crap is going on? Hopefully they reviewed that tape and that kid was suspended for the rest of the year, it was completely uncalled for and there is no place in the game for it.

This is beyond bad sportsmanship, maybe borderline criminal assault. I hope at least suspensions are coming if not expulsion. There is no good reason for what he did.
