Something that struck my attention in the article is that this all started from an interview with Griner and her father by the NCAA because she was a top player. It also went on to say that the department who did the interviews no longer exists. Is it at all possible that they were finding so many violations from so many different schools that it made it pointless to continue trying to monitor this stuff? I would say yes.

Also, I find it likely that we would receive some sort of further punishment (suspension, further loss of scholarships) since we were on probation thru 2010.
