I watched Syracuse play a month or 2 ago and said the exact same thing. It just jumps out at you if you've watched enough BU games that Cuse is playing a completely different zone and then you almost immediately notice their hands in air all the time on D. Ashley writes about it and it drives me crazy as it just looks lazy the way BU plays zone.
I heard Drew wearing a mic one game, think it was UT, about month ago and he was harping keeping hands up and they did it well that game. It seems that was best all season and wonder if that was only game he stressed it? I seriously doubt it and I'd bet he's sitting guys every now and then for their lack of D effort surely???

I just don't understand why we don't play a conventional 2-3. I cannot stand out guards sagging to the free throw line when nobody is there. I can't stand our wings playing up near the top of the key. I just can't stand our caddywompus zone. If you're going to play zone, play it like the man who has 900 wins using it.
