Recruiting in football is a very inexact science. However, dips like UT and Gators are having can be product of lots of things: scheme change, staff changes, early exits to NFL...or most obviously, a huge drop in QB because a high profile recruit doesn't live up to billing.
Texas is playing a TON of frosh/sophs and they will be VERY good next year once Ash gets reps and confidence. We need to beat them this year as they will see a big resurgence in the next year or two.
If Texas/OU swapped QBs last Saturday, that would have been a competitive game. Landry Jones is REALLY good...and Ash is just getting his feet wet.

I absolutely detest the antics of today's athletes. Let their performance speak for themselves and let the fans celebrate.
ugh, this mentality drives me nuts. while i think that celebrations go too far on many ocassions, why is it so upsetting for some people to see the players celebrate on the field? they're the ones that are making the plays, so why should you (the fan) get to cheer about it and not them!?
a lot of players seem to fuel themselves by running their mouths on the field of play, and Wright seems to be one of those guys. if that's something that he uses to get more out of himself, then i say jaw away, Kendall!!!
