Will Baylor be ranked in the final AP poll?

Not worried about the USA Today poll since we were getting zero votes in that one. We're currently 32 in the AP poll so we need to pass at least 7 teams. Here are teams 15-31 and their bowl game results:
15 - Oregon State - Lost to Texas 31-27.
16 - Northern Illinois - Lost to FSU 31-10.
17 - UCLA - Lost to Baylor 49-26.
18 - Utah State - Beat Toledo 41-15.
19 - Michigan - Lost to South Carolina 33-28.
20 - Boise State - Beat Washington 28-26.
21 - Northwestern - Beat Miss St 34-20.
22 - Louisville - Beat Florida 33-23.
23 - Nebraska - Lost to Georgia 45-31.
24 - San Jose State - Beat BGU 29-20.
25 - Kent State - Lost to Ark St 17-13.
26 - Penn State - n/a
27 - Vanderbilt - Beat NC State 38-24.
28 - Wisconsin - Lost to Stanford 20-14.
29 - Texas - Beat Oregon St 31-27.
30 - San Diego State - Lost to BYU 23-6.
31 - Fresno State - Lost to SMU 43-10.
Right now, we're definitely passing San Diego St and Fresno St. I think we end up passing Wisconsin, Nebraska, Louisville, Northwestern and Michigan as well but that obviously depends on the results of their bowl games. Northern Illinois and UCLA are possibilities as well.
P.S. I'm assuming that no one leapfrogs us and that we don't pass anyone who wins their bowl game.

I can't remember if Tech was ranked like 25 or something when we played them but KSU, OSU, and UCLA were top 25 teams when we beat them.

I'm going to say we finish in the top 25. It would be a total travesty if we didn't. The second half of our season should be proof that we're a different team than the beginning of the year and that's what should matter. Like the saying goes, it's how you finish that's important.

I doubt we will be since we were so far out to begin with, though if everything were erased and the rankings started from scratch, we would be. I doubt we will start in the rankings next year either since NFlo won't be there.

Would barely crack top 25 but it would be nice if it happened. Just a stupid BS poll voted on by many that haven't a clue or vote their favorites no matter what. With a playoff like in basketball they could make sweet 16 and mayb 8 imo. Who'd wanna play em?

Beating a top twenty team handily will get folks attention. I look for us to sneak into the top 25.

Over the last decade only a couple of 8-5 teams have finished in the AP top 25 (and those were florida and fl st. who probably benefited from some built in cred) So it would seem unlikely however I would guess that an 8-5 team with our resume is equally as rare.
I doubt we make it but I think a big win by KSt could put us over the top since our win over the wildcats is still fresh in everyone's mind.

With PSU on probation Im not sure they can be ranked in the final poll, it seems to me that is part of the rule but I could be wrong.

PSU shouldn't be ranked. Not sure we will be either but telling recrutis that we are Alamo and Holiday Bowl champs is more important.

BCS doesn't do a final poll, only polls that decide who plays in the BCS. Final polls will be AP and Coaches.

ya know, we have to worry about passing #25 Kent St only if they lose to very unranked Ark St. And ...
Baylor stomps #17 ucla close to ucla's backyard???
What's wrong with that insanity? That makes no sense, but it's our reality.
Why can't there be a playoff similar to March Madness and Texas HS playoffs?
